A schematic is a specification, not a drawing. We produce schematics that another engineer can review, a purchaser can source from, and a layout engineer can build from without a single clarifying email.
Schematic design as a standalone engagement
You do not have to buy layout to get a schematic from us. Many clients come with a block diagram, a stack of datasheets, and a target cost, and need someone to turn that into a design that holds up under review. You can take the finished schematic to any layout engineer — including your own team.

Component selection is where projects are won or lost
A schematic that specifies a part with a 52-week lead time is a schematic that costs you a product launch. We check availability, lifecycle status, and second sources before a part enters the design — and we tell you when a cheaper equivalent exists.
Availability and lifecycle
Every active component is checked against distributor stock and manufacturer lifecycle status. Not-recommended-for-new-design parts are rejected outright.
Second sourcing
Critical passives and connectors get an alternate part identified in the BOM, so a stockout does not halt your build.
Assembly-house compatibility
If you plan to assemble at JLCPCB, we bias part selection toward their basic and preferred libraries to avoid per-part loading fees.
Cost visibility
The BOM includes unit pricing at your target build quantity, so cost surprises happen at design time, not at purchase-order time.

Common questions
Can you design a schematic from just a product idea?
Yes, provided you can describe the functional requirements — what it senses or drives, the power source, the interfaces, and the target cost. We start with a block diagram and a requirements document, get your sign-off on that, then proceed to capture.
Will you create custom symbols and footprints?
Yes. Any part not present in the standard libraries gets a symbol and an IPC-7351 compliant footprint built from the manufacturer's drawing, and those library elements are delivered with the project.
Can another engineer continue the layout from your schematic?
That is exactly what the deliverables are designed for. You receive native project files and a validated netlist, so any competent layout engineer can pick it up. There is no lock-in.
